I have a cute bush of feverfew growing in my yard, which my studio looks over. I picked a spring, the scent very distinct, and starting rumaging the house for the right vase.
I have two vinatge essence bottles, both from my Mothers collections that came to me still filled with their stinky essence. There was quite a few in the collection but I had to save myself from hoarding them all and kept the strawberry essence and the imitation rum bottle.
I wanted to paint it in glass, so I chose the strawberry vase and here we are.
A striking, small painting that would look great a kitchen shelf or on your bedside table. Perfect for a gallery wall hang to squeeze in amongst bigger paintings.
